Anthony Garlando and friends – the early days!

Posted on April 1, 2014 by admin

When contemporary-culture video magazine Crane TV asked our executive chef Anthony Garlando if he’d like to take part in a new series called ‘Chef’s Tables’, he leapt at the chance to take time out from the heat and frenetic pace of the kitchen to share stories from his career.

Crane TV’s team came to aqua shard and grilled Anthony about how he became a chef, lessons learned along the way, his influences and mentors, and, for this first episode of what’s to be a weekly series, mistakes made in his early years as a chef.

Anthony isn’t the only top chef lined up to share his stories; among industry peers who also appear are Dan Doherty from Duck & Waffle, Angler’s Tony Fleming and Paul Hood of Social Eating House. We really enjoyed hearing their funny, if at times worrying, tales of learning the hard way; we’re not quite sure any of them beat Anthony’s for sheer drama though!

To watch the rest of the series, which will be shown on Mondays for the next few weeks, bookmark Crane TV’s website or follow them on Twitter and Facebook.
