Congratulations David Boyd on your GQ Awards Nomination!

Last night some of the best-known names in the UK restaurant world assembled at London’s Bulgari Hotel for the inaugural GQ Food & Drink Awards – and we were delighted that our front-of-house manager David Boyd was among the nominees!

David – the first person many guests come into contact with and a familiar, friendly face to all – was nominated in the best front-of-house category, from a shortlist representing the maitre d’s and managers nominated as being the very best in the business at ensuring guests are warmly welcomed and have a great experience from start to finish.

The category was won by Jesus Adorno, restaurant director of Le Caprice, whom David greatly admires and warmly congratulates – as do we. We are all extremely proud of David – who had a wonderful time at the awards with general manager of aqua shard John Wiltshire, including meeting GQ editor Dylan Jones OBE - for being nominated!
