Our new Market Lunch menu is a guilt-free January treat

Here at aqua shard we’re not ones to tell you that, come January, you should be giving up this or quitting that. We think it’s much better to give yourself a break in the cold, quieter first few weeks of the year and enjoy – within moderation, of course – a soothing treat or two.

At ¬£31 for two-courses or ¬£34 for three, our seasonally-changing¬†Market Lunch menu is an affordable indulgence with sumptuous dishes that won’t leave you feeling like you’re depriving yourself of anything.

Starters for example include Cured Rose Bay shrimps with a light Champagne emulsion, tobiko and redcurrant and ginger salad, while for main course, vegetarians and carnivores alike will love Anthony Garlando’s warming, colourful Jack Be Little pumpkin risotto with Westcombe ricotta, crushed chestnuts and crispy marjoram.

Do leave room for dessert – go on, you know you want to! – as we’ve a thick, creamy Buttermilk pudding with rhubarb compote or a Caramelised pear & almond tart for you to choose from – or if you’re being really good and have given up sugar, allow yourself to indulge in Britain’s finest artisanal cheese selection.
