Visit Britain’s highest barbers this Father’s day!

Posted on May 28, 2014 by admin

Sunday 15th June is Father’s Day and we have arranged a special treat for all dads joining us for Weekend Brunch – a complimentary visit to Britain’s highest barber! Luxury men’s grooming room Man Made is popping up in our private dining room from 11am-3.30pm and all fathers (and grandfathers, and fathers-in-law…!) ordering the Weekend Brunch menu are invited to enjoy a wet shave, beard trim or quick haircut before or after eating, with our compliments.

Founded by men’s grooming expert Dan Gregory, Man Made is a refreshing, contemporary take on the traditional male salon, catering to the modern man’s every need in a ‘private members’ style grooming room at 23 George Street, Marylebone. We are very excited that for one day only Dan and his team will be bringing Man Made to Level 31 of The Shard, to create Britain’s highest barbers!

The Weekend Brunch menu offers starters such as Lobster Benedict or Pork & piccalilli, grilled pork sausage with cauliflower piccalilli and rhubarb pureé. For main courses there’s rare breed Roast of the Day with all the trimmings, as well as Fig tart with braised shallots and horseradish mousse, while desserts include Buttermilk panna cotta and Bakewell tart. The set price of £48 includes three courses and a ’31′ signature Champagne cocktail.

To book a table for Weekend Brunch visit the About Us page; then to arrange your complimentary treatment from Man Made at aqua shard, just speak to your waiter or waitress on the day.

What do you think your father will go for – will he brave a wet shave or spruce up with a quick haircut? And what will you be ordering from the Weekend Brunch menu? Let us know in the comments!
